Plant distribution by Income Tax department Mock demonstration by Disaster Management Authority The team in GGHSS, Peroorkada My students of class XII Our principal miss and sir It was the last week of our Teaching Practice in Phase 1. There were quite a few events occurred this week. The major programs included Radio program on lunch time, Annual day practices and screenings, Mock demonstration of disaster management which was conducted by the Disaster management authority, Gandhi remembrance, Pledge taking on Martyr's day, Plant distribution by Income Tax department and Our feed back sessions. Also there were regular programs like mid day meal, weekly milk distribution etc. On Wednesday, I presented a  poem related to our art education activities in the class. Students really enjoyed it. On Friday, our students gave us a heart warming sent off from the school. Govt. Girls Higher Secondary School, Peroorkada was a best place for my career to start.

  -   Socially Useful Productive Work                     As we know in our B. Ed curriculum, SUPW is an important task to do, to which helps bring out the creative side and also make a useful product from a waste material or materials that are not reusable for any purpose So...Socially useful productive work has been described by the Ishwarbhai Patel Committee as purpose, meaningful, manual work resulting into either goods or services which are useful. That's how I came up with this    What role does SUPW have in a B. Ed curriculum?  To be productive.  Helps to think outside the curriculum.  Helps to form a new useful product.  Helps to work intelligently.  Helps to change a wasteful product into useful and eco-friendly product. MY SUPW 

  Science fest conducted by the students Morning Assembly  It was a good week in our teaching practice session. The science fest of the upper primary students was conducted in this week. In that, students exhibited many science related charts, models and experiments. It was a good opportunity for them to explore out of the textbook. In the assembly on Thursday, the winners of science fest were awarded. The headmistress announced the annual day date as February 9 in the assembly and students were instructed to start practising for various events for the annual day. Also Friday was a holiday due to Republic Day. It was indeed a fruitful week.

  Life skill class about Decision making conducted for 12th standard students by Vidya and Me Milk distribution Our teaching practice is going through it's last few weeks. In the 9th week, the one day tour for the high school students to Wonderla was the major event occurred. The other major events include- An awareness class which was conducted by Income Tax Department, Mid day meal, Milk distribution, life skill class and sports practices. 15th January was a holiday due to pongal.    

  POEM COMPOSING  A poem is a piece of writing that uses imaginative words to share ideas, emotions or a story with the reader. Many poems have words or phrases that sound good together when they are read aloud. People have been writing poetry for over 4,000 years, but they were probably making up verses to recite in front of audiences long before that. In Ancient Greece, some poems were sung or performed with music – just like a song.  As a part of B.Ed. curriculum, we have to do a music or poem composition about a topic we teach. For that I provided students an activity to create a poem upon the theme 'MARKETING'  . THE MARKET WORLD Market Market! Market Market!
