  Hello Dears  ☺       The sole purpose of Initiatory school experience is to provide the student-teacher an opportunity to have primary experiences with the functioning of the school.  This school attachment programme is for a period of  five continuous working days  giving you an opportunity to acquaint with the school environment and their day-to- day functioning.  The student-teachers have to  maintain a detailed diary  as record of the visit.  After the initiatory school experiences,  a reflection session will be organized  in the college.  Assessment of student-teacher performance during this period will be done jointly and conveniently by the General and Optional teachers. Institutions can depute either the Optional teacher or the General teacher for organizing and assessment of school initiatory experiences.                                COMMERCE ASSOCIATION Commerce Association is an association of commerce students, formed by department of   commerce in the academic year 2022-24. The commerce association conducts various activities concerned with the overall development of students. All programmes and activities undertaken   by association are totally managed by the student members of association only; the Commerce Association In charge and Committee members act as a guiding force for the smooth functioning of the programmes organized by commerce association.

  MICRO TEACHING  Micro-teaching  is a teacher training and faculty development technique whereby the teacher  reviews a recording of a teaching  session, in order to get constructive feedback from peers or students about what has worked and what improvements can be made to their teaching technique. Micro-teaching was invented in 1963 at Stanford University by  Dwight W. Allen , and has subsequently been used to develop educators in all forms of education.

  “SPREAD LOVE AND CARE” COMMUNITY BASED PROGRAMME   We the first-year teacher educators of BNV College of Teacher Education got an opportunity to visit an old age home for our community-based activity which comes under our B. Ed curriculum. The main objective of our community-based programme is to sensitize the students to the living conditions of the people who are around us and to realise the truth of the society. Students with respected teachers conducted a planning session for choosing the best place to visit. As a result of this, we decided to visit an old age home near to our college named ‘KRIPATHEERAM’ situated 6.5 km far from our college. Kripatheeram (a home for homeless) is a charity organization run by Holy Family Congregation established on January 18 th , 2012.
