The term ‘media’ refers to various means of communication.

It helps in communication and spreading information. It is an inseparable part of our lives.

  • Non- Print Media

PRINT MEDIA

            

It delivers the news and information through printed publications. These can also be passed on to others

 Examples:

  • News paper
  • Books
  • Magazines
  • Newsletters
  • Brochure
  • Banners etc.

 NON- PRINT MEDIA



Non-Print media is also called as Digital Media. It contains- text, image, graphics, audio, video etc. It works through electronic medium. Non- Print media is a Soft Copy. Examples: Radio, Tv, Internet, Films in Education etc.

It is a type of mass media that creates and distributes content via the electronic medium and devices associated with them. Literacy is not primary concern for non-print media.
