COMMUNITY LIVING CAMP - REPORT

HARSHAM 2023

INTRODUCTION

  • Camp begins on 18th December-22th December 2023.BNV College of Teacher Education,Thiruvallam  in the name "harsham'2023"
  • .This was a 5 day residential camp conducted with the theme "EDUCATION FOR THE EMPOWERMENT"
  • .For proper functioning of camp students are grouped into 4. VASANTHAM,GREESHMAM,HEMANTHAM and VARSHAM.

 




As part of BEd curriculum we the students of BNV got a most memorable days through the camp programme.It consists of lots of programmes in group ,individual ,based on schedules and sessions.
The camp begins through the hosting of flag by Managing Director of BNV institutions Sri.A Suresh


Welcome speach was done by Dr Lakshmi S,Principal,BNVCTE,Thiruvallam.
The camp was inagurated by Smt.Ishwary Amma M,Chairperson,BNV Trust.




CLASS SESSIONS

Different resourses persons came to take class.

1st day class is by Dr.Lidson Raj,Former Associate Prof. GCTE Thycaud.

2nd day class byshri Kalish Karunakaran,Career mentor,PGT at Carmel school,Peyad.

3rd day class was by Shri.Jose D Sujeev,GMGHSS,Pattom ,Tvpm

4th day the class took by Shri.Kadakkal Lalu,HST,GHS,Madatharakani




PARLIAMENT

One of the most indispensible programme in camp .There were oth taking ceremony's by the ministers who were selected from different groups.Debate sessions were very interesting.









Duties included - Organising assembly, Newspaper preperation, Cooking, Cleaning and Cultural programs. We had also named the 5 days as : Aaravam, Aamodam, Aahladam, Aanandam and Aakhosham. At the end of the camp Best House was selected and awarded a trophy to reward their devotion and hardwork.

I Was on team HEMANDAM. The duty we received on each day was in order  Cooking, Assembly,Cultural activity and Cleaning. team consisted of 14 members. I did my best for the team. Not only me but also the other collides cooperated with me and captain very well.
