TEACHING PRACTICE: Week 1 (6-11-23) to ( 10-11-23)

 Our first phase of teaching practice has started on 6th November 2023. The school I opted for my first phase of teaching practice is Govt. Girls HSS, Peroorkada. It is one of the major girls' school in the city. The first week of the 10 weeks teaching practice went well. 


Day 1- Let's start
Day 2- Mid day meal serving for school children

Day 3- Motivational class for X1 std students

Day 3- Literary club activities

                  Day 4- Mid may meal menu

Day 4- Mid day meal- Fried rice and Chicken curry

Day 4- Serving mid day meal


Day 4- Aerobics class for teachers and students


Day 5- Morning assembly

Day 5- Health camp

Day 5- Alumnis handing over office equipments to school authorities

Day 5- Teachers and alumni members

Day 5- Orientation class by Mr. Lal Shaji for NSS volunteers


This week 
We had several activities in school this week. A quiz competition on the topic anti drug campaign was conducted by the police department. Essay writing competition on the same topic was conducted. 10th standard students had mid term exams. We went for invigilation duty. There were literary club activities for the English club students.
Health camp was conducted by NSS volunteers. Hemoglobin, height and weight of the students were measured. On Friday assembly was conducted. Alumni members of SSLC 2006 batch came to school and gave some sports equipments for the students. Students who went for national level hockey championship were appreciated. The NSS volunteers were given orientation class by Mr. Lal Shaji Sir
